There are few things more cringe-worthy than a glaring typo in a published book. Make sure that the manuscript you're sending off to agents or out into the world of self-publishing is the absolute best it can be.
"Shaela's critique was spot-on and incredibly helpful. She was able to pinpoint weaknesses in my manuscript that needed further work and gave me useful, effective suggestions. She has an eye for detail while still grasping big picture concepts. Her turnaround time was quick, and her correspondence was timely and professional. I can't say enough good things about working with her! " -Brittney M.
This is the first step in the editing process. After reading through your entire manuscript, we will provide a separate document with a detailed assessment of your story's overall strengths and weaknesses. You'll receive specific feedback regarding plot structure, character development, pacing, and storytelling, as well as any specific needs that should be addressed.
Up to 40,000 words - $100
This is the most personal level of edit you will find. A line edit tackles your manuscript paragraph by paragraph, line by line, to help you polish your words to perfection. A line edit checks paragraph structure, sentence flow, word choice, and clarity, all while helping to maintain your own unique voice and style. Our line edits also include a light copy edit for spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
$0.006 per word
A copy edit will check for grammar, punctuation, spelling, style consistency, and internal discrepancies. Copy edits should not be done until the final stages of publication. Manuscripts that have not received a line edit prior to hiring a copy edit will not have sentence structure or word flow evaluated, unless there is a direct grammatical error.

A 10-page edit is offered free of charge for anyone interested in our editing services.
